About the role

Bouldr is looking for a product-minded software engineer to help us build dependable, privacy-focused tools for people navigating high-pressure interviews.

You will work across the product rather than within a narrow layer. That may include the Windows desktop app, web experiences, integrations, AI workflows, and the infrastructure that connects them. You will have meaningful input into both technical decisions and what we build next.

What you'll do

  • Ship reliable product features across the desktop and web stack
  • Translate customer feedback and product goals into focused technical solutions
  • Improve application performance, security, quality, and developer experience
  • Investigate production issues and strengthen the systems around them
  • Contribute to product and architecture decisions with clear tradeoffs

What you bring

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and product judgment
  • Experience building and maintaining user-facing applications
  • Comfort moving across unfamiliar parts of a codebase
  • Clear written communication and the ability to work independently
  • Care for privacy, polish, and dependable user experiences

What success looks like

  • Customers notice a faster, more reliable, and more useful Bouldr
  • Features move from idea to production with sensible scope and quality
  • The codebase becomes easier to understand, test, and extend
